RSSI C&S Exhibition

May 17th - 19th, 2010

Qwest Convention Center

Omaha, Nebraska

In May, 2010 RSSI celebrated its 50th Annual C&S Exhibition. RSSI is proud to be the only railroad related annual exhibition that has endured all of the trials and tribulations of the past 50 years. Some members, such as Invensys (formerly known as Safetran Systems Corp.) have been with RSSI since its inception. Others, who have joined RSSI in the past few months have already realized the value of the RSSI C&S Exhibition and are certain to remain members for many years.

By the close of the exhibition on May 19th, the exhibitors were tired; but, all smiling as the 50th RSSI exhibition came to a close. The over 700 Railroad/Transit/Government attendees kept exhibitors busy as they examined the products and systems on display. One exhibitor commented that the contacts he made before noon on the first day were sufficient to cover his cost of exhibiting – everything after that would be “gravy.”

Records are made to be broken and the Omaha show broke all the records:

Number of Exhibitors: 164

Total Attendance: 1712 (not including 106 spouses)

Railroad/Transit/Government Attendees: 723

The supplier to customer ratio of 1.37 to 1, although not a record for RSSI, is by far the best in the industry.

On behalf of RSSI and its members we extend our thanks to our railroad C&S counterparts for their continued support of our annual C&S exhibition and a special thanks to our co-hosts, BNSF and UP.
